Dear Friends,

I think I’ve found out what started the deluge of 1-star reviews of “Creative Correction” on Amazon, and probably some serious pressure from Focus on the Family to remove them (over 50!). Including removing nearly all our reviews! Hollywood blogger Perez Hilton, read apparently by millions, published this page last Friday:

Whelchel’s book has been exposed, this is good! But Amazon is caving to those who defend spanking, hot-saucing, tying children up, denying them food, and making them walk on dog poop. Here are some ideas on what you can do:

1) Call Amazon and complain about the censorship of honest reviews: 1-800-201-7575. Wait to speak with a live person.

2) Add your comments on this book at the bottom of Amazon’s page at “This product’s forum”: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1589971280/

3) Boycott Amazon.

Interestingly, Barnes & Noble has been printing our reviews of “Creative Correction”. They have 39 reviews with an average rating of 2 stars!!
